One of the greatest and most well-known emulators for fans of arcade games is MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator). This emulator is open-source and free. The 7000 unique and 10,000 arcade game ROMS were supported with the 1997 release of the MAME emulator.
MAME ROMs
In addition to several vintage home consoles and personal computers, MAME emulator enables you to play games from a variety of developers, including Capcom, Neo Go, Namco, and Sega arcade systems. MAME Bios is another name for these Roms.
MAME ROMs are game image files that are used with the MAME emulator to play arcade games.
Games for consoles and personal computers are stored in software list ROMs.
The data on CD ROMs and laser discs is stored in CHD files, or compressed chunks of data.
The console and home computer applications are stored in CHD SL (CHD Software List) files.
Game icons and emulator overlay images are offered by MAME Extras.

Installation Guide
- Download the ROMs from above links
- After the download complete now move the downloaded ROM packages to your MAME ROMs directory or drive.
- Now Extract the downloaded zip file. You can use 7zip or winrar.
- The extracted files are themselves in zipped/compressed format. Do not unzip these files.
- Keep the Extras, Video Snaps and CHDs in their own folders.
Configuration guide
- Open MAME first, then choose Configure Options.
- Then use Configure Directories to specify where the ROMs, CHDs, and software lists are located.
- Finally, use the Configure UI to set the Extras' location.
- You may now enjoy playing your favourite games after downloading the bundle and configuring the MAME emulator's files.
